Improving the composition of retaining rings and axial hinges from MOOG

The Unique Trade announces a change in the design of the axial joint and retainer rings of the anthers on the stabilizer racks from MOOG. Thanks to the implemented changes, the service life of both parts has been extended and the reliability of driving has been increased.

Implemented changes.

1. MOOG engineers found a solution by changing the design from hexagonal to octagonal profile.

2. MOOG started using a larger diameter finger with increased force for pressing out for reliable operation.

Metal anther retaining rings on all MOOG stabilizer legs

Implemented changes. MOOG has replaced all the upper plastic anther retaining rings on the metal ring to eliminate the potential problem of breaking the air tightness of the swivel joint.
